These are a few of
my favorite things...

Favorite Song: The Wanton Song Runners Up: Sick Again, Candy Store Rock, For Your Life The greatest musical act to ever strut the boards. Yes, they engaged in a bit of thievery here and there, but “talent borrows, genius steals."

The three most important are Webster's, Oxford, and Urban.

Favorite Player: Dwight Evans Runners Up: Manny Ramirez, David Ortiz, Pedro Martinez Favorite Moment: Ending the Curse in 2004

If you ever need a last second fill-in on your trivia team, I can help you here, sports, and music.

My favorite movie of all time. Part II is great, as well. Zanier than the original, though not as much heart. Part III never happened.

Currently teaching myself [moment of silence for my neighbors]. Learning the drums is essentially detangling wires in my brain so I can train my hands and feet to work with each other or separately as needed.

The funniest show of all time. It was probably a good thing he pulled the plug after two seasons—before the inevitable dropoff.

Anything less would be uncivilized.

The best of the Star Wars episodes. It's basically a two-hour chase sequence with Darth Vader hellbent on tracking down Luke. The running gag of Vader using The Force to choke underperforming officers is comedic gold. Clever humor like this is what separates the original trilogy from all the intergalactic space poop that's been unleashed on a lemming-like public post-1983. IMHO :-)

Favorite Player: Tom Brady Runner Up: Stanley Morgan Favorite Moments: Vinatieri's Kick vs. the Rams, Malcolm Butler

Favorite Songs: Super Freak, Fire It Up, She Blew My Mind 69 Times (yes, that's an actual song and a very good one at that) Both insanely talented and legitimately insane, Dave Chappelle could've done an entire season of Chappelle Shows just on outrageous Rick James stories.

It's pretty much extracted and processed in Pakistan, but "Pakistani Pink Salt" doesn't quite evoke images of the Dalai Lama sprinkling it on his chips and salsa...so Himalayan it is!

The existence of the Lakers notwithstanding ;-)

Favorite: Founders Centennial in a can (makes lugging recyclables down three flights of stairs a breeze).

Even Tom Selleck thought, "Damn, now that's a mustache."

Favorite Songs: The Greeting Song, Naked in the Rain, Buckle Down, The Getaway Who name drops California/Los Angeles more often, these guys or the Eagles? I need to conduct a song by song analysis of this.

Favorite Songs: Straight Out the Sewer, They Want EFX No one does similes and metaphors like these guys.

Transcends the confines of run-of-the-mill slapstick comedy with unusually clever and witty dialogue.

Plodding slowly in my case, but still ...

The most relentlessly great album ever. All ten songs could've been singles. Sure, the lyrics will kill off brain cells, but when it's done this well, who cares? Lines like, "Let me cut your cake with my knife," sound Shakespearian coming from these guys.

Favorite Books of All Time: The Count of Monte Cristo, Moneyball, Hammer of the Gods

Hangar with seltzer, slice of lime. If I was a rapper, I’d be dropping this into songs constantly. UPDATE: I've replaced seltzer with Kombucha—now that's boojie.

My hero. Keeps getting better and better and better ...

M, N, and hyphen. It's not just punctuation—it's a lifestyle.

A sommelier I ain’t, but I thorougly enjoy this cab. Beats me what it contains hints of. My tastebuds like it.

Makes everything better.

Morning, noon, and night.

Call it.

Favorite Song: Diesel Power Runners Up: The Day Is My Enemy, Invaders Must Die

Drumming & singing at the same time—insane coordination. Favorite Song: Life in the Fast Lane Runners Up: One of These Nights, Victim of Love, Witchy Woman

If only Intravenus de Milo was an actual album.

Favorite Songs: Can't Deny It, Tit 4 Tat, and any time he recites "F-A, B-O, L-O, U-S"

And pretty much anything with Sacha Baron Cohen. This movie starts with an "In Memoriam to Kim Jong-il" and then takes it from there.

Favorite Songs: Private Eyes, I Can't Go for That (No Can Do), Say It Isn't So And the feathered hair is sublime.

The crown jewel of the emoji family.
